Following the Missoni mania Jason Wu will be the next designer to collaborate with Target, WWD reported. The limited-edition collection will be available starting February 5 through March 6, 2012. The prices will range from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and handbags will range from $19.99 to $49.99.
“The exciting thing about this limited edition collection of affordable women’s wear and accessories is that it allows me to reach a wider audience and bring my designs to people who may not have been able to purchase them before,” Wu told WWD. “My collection for Target is chic and wearable. I think women everywhere will enjoy it.”
Ever since Michelle Obama chose his design to wear to the inauguration he definitely became the one to watch. So, I think he will have no problem drawing a crowd at Targets everywhere.
Wu told WWD that his collection for Target “features clothes and accessories that are easily convertible from day to evening — sophisticated, feminine dresses, mix-and-match separates and playful accessories all with a bit of charm and dressed-up attitude.” [Fashionista]
